What makes a self-help book great?
•Easy to understand.
•Easy to read.
•Compels you to implore.
•Makes you take action as soon as possible.
Ikigai is one such book as it stands on all fronts written above. But how?

A book review of IKIGAI by every_thing_bookish.
Inspiration for the book
We all know that the world is full of so many people whose age extends beyond 100 years, and yet, they're so passionate on living a wholesome life. Where does this drive come from? This secret lies in the word: IKIGAI.
The one bad thing about the book is a good thing itself
The only thing I don't like about the book is it's small size. It's almost the size of my hand. It's such a cute little book. I call it my happy-book (I'm bad at giving nicknames, sorry) There's literally nothing else that's wrong with the book for me.
The thing which works for me
What really works wonders for me is the simplicity in which this book has been written, and everything is explained so clearly that you'll smile as you read on (if you weren't already smiling, that is). You know most of the things mentioned within, but either you've turned a blind eye, or too lazy to carry it out. Why is that so? This answer is inside the book.
How does it help?
Who in the world would not like to have a reason to get out of bed every morning, live their day to the fullest and be happily satisfied with each day they're living? All the answers are hidden in this book.
“Being aware of the impermanence of things does not have to make us sad, it should help us love the present and those who surround us.”
